Trading Business Analyst – System Development and Special Project Post Date: 28 Jul 09

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successfully candidate will join the 24-hour global trading team as a trading analyst. He or she will work closely with senior members of the team in primarily risk management and a special projects capacity.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Contributes to the design, establishment, implementation, revision, and maintenance of Trading risk and compliance system
* Assist to enhance and maintain the Trading and the Client Group performance analytics data source and system.
* Continue to improve and automate the existing trading procedures, reports, and various analyses.
* Provide continuous risk and compliance support via interaction with Trading, IT, Legal, and the Operations groups.
* Perform analyses to quantify trading risk and evaluate counterparty risk
* Produce trading related analyses and reports to senior management and Board members.
* Gather information and conduct analysis as required by the senior management.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* First-class academic record and, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree.
* Excellent programming skills in one or more of these languages: VB.Net, C#, Java, C++ (3~5 years of experience)
* Experience with a Relational Database System, including: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle (3~5 years of experience)
* Minimum of 2 years experience in the financial industry.
* Knowledge or qualification in Finance is extremely beneficial.
