Tea Fire on Montecito, Destroying 80+ houses and Santa Barbara
I have updates that announce me about Tea Fire on Montecito, California. There are about 80+ houses were destroyed and large of Santa Barbara Area.
The “Tea Fire” broke out about 6 pm local time near the Cold Springs area of Montecito. According to reports in the LA Times, the fire overwhelmed fire fighters:
“I have so many concerns,” said Terry McElwee, operation chief for the Montecito Fire Department. “It’s just moving so fast right now. . . . We’re having trouble rounding up enough resources.”
More than 1,000 firefighters were battling the blaze, including fire fighters from Santa Barbara County, the city of Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria, and the California Department of Forestry. Evacuations were in effect for an area above California 192, between Cold Springs Road and Hot Springs Road.
