CenturyTel.Inc buy Embarq Corp For More Than $5 Billion

CenturyTel Inc bought Embarq Corporation for their stocks about more than $5 Billion. Announced today’s that the two biggest telephone line provider getting merger. I have an opinion for this thing. Firstly I have known that the Embarq Corp is having a difficult situation for US market at globally. Secondly I think, it was a great merger for both of them, because keeping the business in a situation that Mobile and high broadband or wireless connection are more interesting for the user then ADSL, so it will makes them more competitive in the market. And have more money to invest the development for Information Technology.
